ABOUT ME
I am a Senior Textile Design student at North Carolina State University’s Wilson College of Textiles with a passion for creating bold patterns, vibrant colors, and visually captivating designs. My design philosophy embraces a modern maximalist approach—layering color, texture, and materiality to transform spaces into experiences that feel both elevated and inviting.
With experience under renowned designer Mimi McMackin at Kemble Interiors in Palm Beach, I gained valuable insight into high-end residential design, contributing to CAD floor plans, fabric sourcing, and architectural design development. This opportunity strengthened my understanding of how textiles and thoughtful details shape luxury interiors.
Beyond my professional experience, my background in textiles gives me a unique foundation for interior design. I see fabrics not just as decorative elements, but as essential tools that define mood, function, and personality within a space. By understanding how color, pattern, and material interact, I am able to seamlessly connect textile design with the broader vision of interior design—creating spaces that are both visually captivating and deeply functional.
As I move forward, I aspire to pursue a career in Interior Design, where I can merge my textile expertise with creative vision and technical skill to deliver spaces that inspire and endure.
