“The Act of Becoming”
Senior Capstone Collection 2026

Textile Design
This atelier-inspired space represents my evolution as a designer, beginning with personal adornment and expanding into fully styled environments.I entered the world of design in 2020 through jewelry, drawn to embellishment and the expressive power of styling objects on the body. As my practice grew, fashion became a medium for visual storytelling through curation, layering garments, accessories, and textures to create mood and identity. This approach ultimately led me to textile and interior design, where I now treat space itself as something to be styled. In this room, fashion and interiors coexist without hierarchy. Garments function as visual elements within the space, while textiles and furnishings are composed with the same intention as a styled look. Pattern, texture, and maximalism serve as tools of expression rather than excess. The Act of Becoming reflects both a culmination of my education and the beginning of my professional design voice, an ongoing process of growth, authorship, and self-expression.Artist Statement
As I close this chapter of my senior collection, I’m truly proud of how it came to life. Every piece reflects my design choices and who I am as a designer. I hope that when you see this collection, you see my passion, my style, and a glimpse into my creative mind. I am deeply grateful to the Wilson College of Textiles for the opportunity and to all the support systems that made this possible. As I move on to the next chapter, I carry these experiences with me. This collection is a piece of me, and I’m thrilled to have shared it with you, whether in person or online. Thank you for witnessing my vision, my growth, and my journey as a designer.
